Job summary

The Hampton Inn Santa Monica is seeking a part‑time Front Desk Agent to warmly greet guests, register them, and assist with checkout, ensuring a smooth and memorable stay. You will use the hotel POS system, manage payments, and provide information about rates, packages, and local attractions.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel or high-volume service environment.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent computer skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete the registration process, including room rate confirmation and key coding.
• Assist guests with check-out and ensure accurate handling of payments and currency exchange.
• Provide knowledge of hotel information, room categories, rates, packages, promotions and local area.
• Upsell hotel services to maximize occupancy and resolve guest inquiries promptly.
