Job summary

Douglas J Institutes & Salons is seeking a friendly Guest Services Associate to be the first point of contact for guests. You will create a welcoming experience from arrival, assist with scheduling, check-in/out, and processing payments in a busy front-desk environment.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, with a professional demeanor and reliability. Daytime hours, some evenings and weekends may be required, in a salon and med spa setting.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, front-desk, salon, spa, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable using computers, phones, scheduling systems, and basic office software.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Available to work daytime, some evenings, and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments.
• Check guests in and out and process payments.
• Provide excellent customer service while managing front-desk communications.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area.
• Monitor the daily schedule and help keep services running smoothly.
• Assist with retail recommendations and purchases.
• Represent the salon and med spa in a positive, professional, and enthusiastic manner.
