Job summary

Loews New Orleans Hotel in the Warehouse District seeks a Front Office Agent to greet guests, check them in/out, and ensure a seamless stay. You will promote hotel services and local attractions, handle payments, and maintain front desk operations with professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of guest service experience, familiarity with Opera PMS, and flexibility to work weekends/evenings/holidays. Veterans and military spouses encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with Property Management System, Opera preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Assign rooms meeting guest preferences and requests.
• Obtain and verify payment information.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions.
• Attend mandatory training and adhere to scheduling requirements.
• Handle emergencies professionally and ensure safety.
