Qualifications

• Communication with guests, handling concerns and compliments in a friendly manner.
• Problem-solving to turn issues into memorable experiences for guests.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Literate and tech-savvy with reading, writing, basic math and computers.
• A high school diploma is required; a college degree is a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience.
• Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or on the phone.
• Take and manage guest bookings, up-sell opportunities, and share ways to improve their stay.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Check guests in and out, issue IDs, keys, and manage safety deposits.
• Record and act on guests’ preferences and handle messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
• Be a trusted contact for guests and assist with billing issues and local knowledge.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents.
• Maintain professional appearance and be a brand ambassador.
• Know events and activities on the day’s schedule.
