Pet Paradise in Chesterfield is seeking a Front Desk Associate who greets guests and pets and manages check-ins, check-outs, and daily front desk operations. The role involves walking dogs, coordinating suites, and helping with guest requests while maintaining a friendly, efficient lobby environment.

Starting at $13.00/hour with planned $0.50 raises at 6 months and on annual anniversary. The company offers advancement programs, scholarships, and a range of benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service role or equivalent experience.
• Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and strong customer service.
• Cheerful, friendly, team-oriented attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and attention to detail in documentation.
• Enjoys problem solving to provide premier guest experiences.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and being around dogs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and their pets to create a positive first impression.
• Process check-ins and check-outs.
• Walk dogs for drop-off and pickup and coordinate suite placement.
• Answer calls, voicemails, and emails promptly.
• Process cashier and POS transactions.
• Coordinate with pet parents and resort leadership.
• Maintain entrance lobby and restrooms cleanliness.
• Support the cat room and resort routines.
• Liaise with veterinary service team for appointment status.
• Assist with harnessing pets at check-in/out.
• Ensure suites are prepared for each pet.
• Know different harness types.
