Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to stand and move throughout front office and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, professional welcome and manage check-in/out.
• Conduct registration using the computer system and verify guest details, including room rate and number of guests.
• Promote HEI Hotels and Resorts programs and brand marketing.
• Prepare and issue room keys, vouchers, and other materials as needed.
• Process payments, cash handling, and balance a house bank.
• Handle cash, vouchers, and other forms of payment and post charges to guest accounts.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with phone inquiries and relay messages to guests.
