Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a Front Office Host at the Grand Hyatt Washington in downtown Washington, DC. You will welcome guests, handle registrations, explain hotel services and promotions, and assist with payments and inquiries to create a superb guest experience.

The role requires flexibility to work any day including weekends/holidays, typically 7:00 am–11:30 pm. Competitive hourly pay starts at $22.00, increasing to $22.50 after six months, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Hotel front desk experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Must have availability to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays, with shifts typically some time between 7a-11:30p.

Responsibilities

• The Front Office Host is responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions.
• Other duties include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquiries.
