Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP operates Residence Inn Oklahoma City and seeks a Front Desk Agent to provide attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy front desk environment. Prior hotel experience is preferred; part-time hourly role with benefits is available in Oklahoma City.

Qualifications

• College coursework helpful.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be aware of all rates, packages and special promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Be familiar with all in-house groups.
• Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow the rate-quoting scenario.
• Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift according to hotel standards.
