Job summary

The Barnett in New Orleans seeks a Guest Services Agent to deliver exceptional hospitality at the front desk. This part-time role focuses on afternoon and evening coverage, including weekends and holidays, with opportunities to engage guests through personalized recommendations and seamless service.

Ideal candidates have prior hotel front desk or customer service experience, proficiency with hotel systems such as Opera Cloud, and a passion for creating memorable stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, or customer service.
• Hyatt experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Opera Cloud PMS and reservations/billing is a plus.
• Second language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm to create a memorable first impression.
• Handle guest check-ins/outs, room assignments, and reservation updates accurately.
• Deliver concierge-style assistance with local dining, attractions, and transport recommendations.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain accurate guest records and payment transactions per hotel procedures.
• Support team during high-volume periods with a collaborative attitude.
