Highgate Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent for our Waikiki front desk operations. The role focuses on warmly welcoming guests, processing check-ins and checkouts, and delivering efficient service throughout the stay while supporting revenue and occupancy goals.

The ideal candidate will have hotel experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This on-site position requires flexible hours and a customer-focused approach to hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College course work in related field helpful.
• Computer experience required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk per Highgate standards.
• Maintain PBX console operation and align with hotel standards.
• Answer inquiries about services, facilities and hours.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Review Front Office logs and trace files daily.
• Handle guest inquiries regarding restaurants, transportation, and activities.
• Follow cash handling and credit policies.
• Know rates, packages and promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Be familiar with in-house groups and key dates.
• Complete room reservations and quote rates accurately.
• Operate Front Desk computer systems and related equipment.
• Balance and prepare shift closing paperwork.
• Market promotions and guest programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
