Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Receptionist in Springfield, IL to deliver exceptional service to residents, families, and visitors. The role includes answering calls, greeting guests, and supporting administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm.
• Willing to handle visitors and residents appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Operates telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information and taking messages.
• Greets all visitors entering the facility and directs or escorts them to their destination.
• Assists residents, family members, employees and other visitors as needed.
• Performs general administrative tasks such as word processing and data entry.
• Maintains security by following procedures and controlling access (visitor logbooks, surveillance, etc.).
• Maintains the general filing system and files all correspondence appropriately.
• Receives and sorts daily mail/deliveries/couriers.
• Reports issues or concerns with residents to the Administrator.
• Other duties as assigned.
