Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Guest Services Representative in Homestead, FL. The role handles reservations, front desk duties, and guest relations with professionalism and courtesy. You will assist the General Manager in their absence and ensure safety, security, and cleanliness standards are met.

The position requires strong communication, math, and computer skills, with a focus on upselling and problem solving to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a functioning automobile.
• Read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Proficient in computer operating systems.
• Strong math skills to calculate room revenue, occupancy, and cash handling.
• General computer proficiency and ability to use office productivity machinery.

Responsibilities

• Ensures reservations are taken correctly and courteously.
• Represent hotel professionally; check guests in and out in a timely manner.
• Manage front office operations in GM’s absence and assist guests with issues.
• Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness standards; report concerns.
• Provide guidance to property staff and upsell where appropriate.
• Handle bank deposits and time-sensitive tasks with accuracy.
