Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist in Newton to serve as the information hub for residents, families, visitors, staff, and others at the community. You will greet guests, manage calls, provide courteous assistance, and support light computer tasks as appropriate.

As a community associate, you will coordinate doctor, beauty, and barber appointment books, act as concierge for residents, keep the lobby neat, and help ensure a welcoming, organized environment for all.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate preferred.
• Possesses expert knowledge of telephone system and capable of teaching others.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors immediately upon arrival.
• Professionally handles all phone calls and routes callers or answers questions in a timely and courteous manner.
• Offers refreshments to visitors where applicable.
• Manages doctor appointment book and beauty appointment book.
• Manages beauty and barber appointment book.
• Acts as concierge for residents (calling taxis, handling telephone and/or cable problems, checking newspaper deliveries, etc.).
• Keeps lobby clean and neat, free of clutter and trash.
