Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Windsor, CT is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to be the information hub for residents, families, staff and visitors. You will greet guests, answer calls, and route inquiries with courtesy and professionalism. This role supports basic scheduling and clerical tasks to keep the community running smoothly.

Schedule: Every other weekend, 8a-1p. Eligible associates enjoy benefits such as holidays, discounted meals, paid training, uniforms, a 401k with company match,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate preferred.
• Possesses expert knowledge of telephone system and capable of teaching others

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors immediately upon arrival
• Professionally handles all phone calls and routes callers or answers questions in a timely and courteous manner
• Offers refreshments (coffee, water, etc.) to visitors, where applicable
• Manages doctor appointment book and beauty appointment book.
• Manages beauty and barber appointment book
• Acts as concierge for residents (calling taxis, handling telephone and/or cable problems, checking newspaper deliveries, etc.)
• Keeps lobby clean and neat, free of clutter and trash
