Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk operations and support the General Manager in a busy club. You will supervise front desk staff, manage member experience, assist in interviews, monitor sales and inventory, and ensure cleanliness and standards across the club.

Open shifts, rotating schedules, bilingual preferred, with a competitive salary and benefits package including 401K, health benefits, PTO, and a complimentary Black Card membership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months supervisor or manager experience in a high-volume setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Open or flexible availability; weekday/weekend shifts as club needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk operations and guest service to ensure a positive member experience.
• Assist General Manager with recruitment and staff development, including interviews.
• Monitor inventory and review daily/weekly/monthly sales to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
• Maintain club cleanliness and uphold company standards across the facility.
• Coordinate shift coverage and disciplinary actions with GM and HR as needed.
• Mentor Front End employees for career growth through training and performance feedback.
• Participate in club audits to ensure areas are clean, organized, and in like-new condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Club Manager.
