H&R Block in Wisconsin is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to be the welcoming first impression for every client. You will manage client scheduling, assist daily office operations, and support a team of tax professionals in person.

This in-person role offers training and a path into tax preparation or office leadership, with evenings and weekend shifts during tax season, and a focus on confidentiality and professional client service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for professional client service.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort using basic computer programs and digital tools (Office, Teams, scheduling).
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression as the face of the office.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs.
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents.
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth, professional client experience.
• Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality, discretion, and care.
