Job Overview
As a Front Desk Associate, you’ll work independently without direct supervision. You are expected to possess strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills, be detail‑oriented, and able to multitask. Your day will involve meeting and greeting residents, checking guests and service providers in and out, understanding and reacting to emergency response and access control procedures, monitoring electronic security control systems, and accurately maintaining daily logs, records, and forms.
Your Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
- Monitor the Emergency Response System.
- Greet and direct residents, guests, and invitees.
- Operate the Electronic Security Control Systems.
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Control access to the building.
- Maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
- Resolve and follow up on all complaints/issues.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s).
- May be assigned other duties by the on‑site property manager.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- College‑level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
- Two (2)–three (3) years of business experience preferred.
- Computer literacy, including command of information system hardware/software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Multiple language fluency is desirable.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
- Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods.
- Handle, finger, grasp, and lift objects and packages.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information verbally and in writing.
- Navigate the property/building quickly and efficiently as required to meet job functions.
- Complete all required forms.
- Perform extended hours and weekends as project requirements dictate.
- Respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
