Job summary

Coastal Health is seeking a friendly, professional Check-In Specialist to join our Primary Care team. The candidate will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect copays, and schedule appointments in a fast-paced medical office.

The role requires strong customer service, multitasking, and attention to detail. Experience in Athenahealth is a plus, and Monday–Friday full-time shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office or healthcare front-desk experience preferred.
• Experience with patient registration and insurance verification preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multitask in a busy medical office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn EMR systems.
• Knowledge of athenahealth is a plus.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities
