Job summary

Dave Wright Auto Group in Hiawatha, IA, is seeking a Front Desk Associate to join our busy showroom and service department. You will operate the switchboard, greet callers, route calls, and provide basic information with a professional, friendly attitude.

The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will work with department managers daily and participate in data entry and other office tasks, while

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and employees while multitasking.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen & background check prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a switchboard telephone system, routing phone calls to the proper departments.
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, minimizing hold time.
• Provide basic information to callers with excellent customer service.
• Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient with all customers and teammates.
• Work with department managers on a daily basis.
• Other administrative duties as assigned, including office work and data entry.

Front Desk Associate Responsibilities

• Operate a switchboard telephone system, routing phone calls to the proper departments
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, in order to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries, while providing excellent customer service
• Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and teammates
• Work with department managers on a daily basis
• Other administrative duties as assigned, including office work and data entry
