Job Title: Front Office Check-Out Representative
Location: Coastal Health

Coastal Health is currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented Front Office Check-Out Representative to join our Fleming Island Primary Care team. This role is vital in providing outstanding service to our patients by greeting and assisting them, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate records and accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone

  • Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider availability, and treatment room use

  • Maintain accurate patient schedules by monitoring arrivals, service delivery, and delays

  • Provide comfort and reassurance to patients by answering questions and maintaining a welcoming reception area

  • Ensure availability of treatment information by managing patient records

  • Maintain and update patient accounts, including personal and financial information

  • Collect payments, record financial transactions, manage patient balances, and assist with billing and collections

  • Monitor office inventory and order supplies as needed

  • Respond to emergencies and assist patients in distress

  • Protect patient privacy by keeping personal and financial information confidential

  • Follow all policies and procedures and report any needed changes

  • Support the team by contributing to daily goals and tasks

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office setting

  • Strong multitasking and time management skills

  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills

  • Proficient in scheduling, organization, and word processing

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of professionalism and a quality-focused mindset

  • Team-driven attitude and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
