Snowbird is seeking a seasonal Front Desk Agent at the Cliff Lodge to deliver outstanding guest service throughout guests' stays. You will check guests in and out, answer inquiries, make reservations, and handle complaints with a friendly, professional approach.

Shift availability includes mornings to evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Prior hospitality experience and a high school diploma are preferred, with a focus on multitasking and staying composed under pressure.

• Verify guest payments and process credit cards.
• Protect guest privacy and ensure data accuracy.
• Provide general knowledge about the resort to guests.
• Record after-hours charges in the PMS system.
• Assist guest services when needed.
• Update guest contact details at check-in.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• You must be available to work both shifts based on business needs, any day of the week including weekends and holidays.
• Shifts may vary from early morning to late evening depending on business levels.

SUMMARY

As a seasonal Cliff Lodge Front Desk Agent at Snowbird, you are responsible for providing excellent customer service throughout our guest’s stay by exceeding their expectations and performing all duties regarding the operation of the front desk. You will assist guests with check-in and out, give general information about the resort, answer the telephone, make reservations, receive customer complaints, and find solutions, and demonstrate outstanding customer service.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Check guests in and out in a professional and friendly manner.
• Display the ability to communicate discount and up sell strategies.
• Accommodate guests’ special requests and VIP arrivals with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
• Book Lodging Reservations using knowledge of occupancy levels.
• Respond to guest questions and resolve customer complaints.
• Verify guest payments: process credit cards.
• Protect guest privacy.
• Assist guests by providing general knowledge of the resort.
• Post after hours Sundries shop charges in the PMS system.
• Assist guest services (concierge) when needed.
• Update guest tiles with phone number & email address at check in.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hotel/hospitality experience preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings.Hotel Lodge conditions.
• Must be prepared to stay overnight, if necessary, on occasional times of road closures.
• May experience unusual stress from continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Work is subject to frequent interruptions, making continuity and accuracy difficult.
• Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
