Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation at Cedar Point in Ohio is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest service at the Sawmill Creek property. You will greet guests, assist with check-in/check-out, sell tickets and add-ons, and answer inquiries both in person and by phone.

The role requires learning and using the Opera Property Management System and flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts as needed.
• Charismatic attitude and strong guest service orientation.
• Ability to learn and use Opera Property Management System.
• Able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out of the hotel and sell tickets.
• Answer guest questions and provide information.
• Maintain guest information securely.
• Support Front Desk operations and communicate with shift manager.
• Adhere to Six Flags safety guidelines.

• Contribute to an amazing guest experience at Sawmill Creek.
• Greet every guest with a positive attitude and smile, assist guests with check-in and check-out, collect payments, sell tickets to Cedar Point and various other add-ons, answer questions in person and over the phone.
• Learn and utilize the hotel Property Management System.

Responsibilities

• Ability to maintain guest information, including credit card information, in a secure and confidential manner.
• Ability to check guests into and out of the hotel, sell tickets, and answer guest questions.
• Ability to solve guest related concerns in a positive and professional manner.
• Maintain open communication with other shifts and the Front Office Manager.
• Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and perform all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety Guidelines.
• Meet Six Flags attendance requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned.
