Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates is hiring a Front Desk Agent for Courtyard by Marriott Buffalo Downtown/Canalside. The role involves greeting guests, handling check-in/out in the PMS, processing payments, and assisting guests with information on hotel services. Shifts include mornings, evenings, and weekend availability.

Qualified candidates will have hotel customer service experience, familiarity with a PMS, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, hotel setting preferred.
• Hilton experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete the check-in/check-out procedure through the Property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handles cash, credit card information and goods at the property.
• Identifies the needs of each guest and provides relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers while providing excellence in service and inputs all information into the hotel management system. Updates and cancels reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
• Typical Schedule: Morning Shifts 7 AM - 3 PM, Evening Shifts 3 PM - 11 PM, Weekend Availability needed.
