Job summary

IHG is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests and manage check-in/check-out while handling reservations and upselling opportunities. You will maintain accurate cash/credit transactions and address guest inquiries with care.

The role requires flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday shifts, plus strong communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills. Prior front desk experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a bonus.
• At least 1 year in front desk or guest service role.
• Flexible with night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Fluent in local language; extra languages are a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Literacy and basic math; comfortable using computers.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes.
• Handle reservations, upsell opportunities, and guest inquiries.
• Accept cash and credit transactions.
• Record guest preferences and address issues promptly.
• Protect guest safety and follow procedures for incidents.
• Act as brand ambassador and provide local knowledge.
