Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Front Desk Agent for Homewood Suites by Hilton Destin to warmly welcome guests, check them in/out, and manage daily front desk operations in a busy beach town. You will handle registrations, payments, and guest inquiries while maintaining accuracy and a friendly, professional demeanor.

The role supports a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays, and offers benefits and employee programs.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred; Hilton experience is a plus.
• Strong calculator skills for moderately complex math.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to handle guest requests and resolve conflicts.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and provide accurate information on hours and local attractions.
• Process check-in/out, verify guest information, and post charges to rooms.
• Issue keys, manage room assignments, and handle currency exchange and payment processing.
• Answer phones promptly, relay messages, and retrieve mail and packages for guests.
• Resolve guest concerns and negotiate solutions during checkout and in emergencies.
