Job summary

Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel is hiring a Front Desk Agent to greet and register guests, handle check-ins/outs, and manage billing with the POS system. You will assist guests with room selection, rate confirmation, and currency handling while keeping accuracy and high service standards.

Experience in hospitality, strong computer skills, and a team-first attitude are essential. Early evenings and weekends work flexibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Front Desk Agent in a hotel or high-volume customer service environment.
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with hotel POS and check-in systems.
• Strong team player with a customer-first mindset.
• Marriott brand experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work early evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information and confirming guest details and rates.
• Handle check-out, process payments, and oversee currency conversions and gift cards as needed.
• Operate the POS system, manage room keys, and ensure accurate billing and room/service accounting.
• Upsell hotel services and facilities to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with a friendly, professional approach.
