Job summary

Hampton-By-Hilto in Revere, MA is seeking a charismatic Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins, distribute keys and coordinate requests to ensure an excellent stay.

This full-time position offers advancement through our Management Development Program, comprehensive training on hotel systems, and benefits including 401k and health insurance; flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience in a luxury hotel or brand setting is ideal, but training is available.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office and hotel software platforms.
• Excellent speaking, reading and writing skills in English.
• Flexible schedule including days, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, collect and manage guest information, issue keys and assign rooms.
• Answer general inquiries to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Provide courteous, proactive service and maintain a positive atmosphere at the front desk.

Requirements:

• Prior front desk experience in a brand setting or luxury hotel environment is ideal, but willing to train the right customer service professional looking to grow their career. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Strong knowledge of software applications is beneficial, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel-specific platforms (OnQ, Opera, Fosse, Lightspeed, HotSOS, GXP, BOB, Kipsu, Slack)
• Strong communication and listening skills and excellent speaking, reading, and writing ability
• Fluency in English: additional languages preferred. Spanish language skills are highly desired
• Flexible schedule required for days, weekends, and holidays
• High energy with effective and influential people skills. Positive attitude and the desire to motivate others
• The ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously should pose a challenge without being overwhelming
• Ability to comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas
