WoodSpring Suites Cartersville - Emerson is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-in/out, reservations, and inquiries with a guest-focused approach.

The role requires multitasking, basic computer skills, and the ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds. Hospitality experience is preferred but not required; all experience levels are welcome.

• Experience in hospitality or front desk roles preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and guest-focused approach.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle cash and reservations.

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values.

• Balance cash at the end of each shift and generate reports for the next shift.


• Operate the hotel switchboard, answer inquiries, and transfer calls as needed.


• Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process


• Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person, including groups


• Answer queries regarding the hotel’s services, charges, dining facilities, sports facilities, and travel directions


• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

• Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all experience levels.


• Strong customer service skills with a guest-focused approach.


• Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Compensation

$16 - $17 yearly
