Job summary

Scenthound is hiring for a Sales & Front Desk Advisor at our South Boulder and Louisville locations in Colorado. The role focuses on scheduling appointments, greeting dogs and humans, selling memberships, and educating dog parents on overall wellness while delivering exceptional service.

We welcome both part-time and full-time applicants. Candidates should have sales and customer service experience, strong computer skills, and a passion for dogs.

Qualifications

• Sales experience and confidence are valued, especially memberships.
• Customer service experience in retail or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to learn products and services to educate dog parents.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work in a smoke-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive membership sales through health and wellness education.
• Increase average ticket price and rebook ratio via memberships, service add-ons, and retail.
• Develop membership leads and follow up with potential members.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage customer profiles.
• Manage cash drawer and daily cash handling.
• Retain memberships and resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain reception area cleanliness per standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager.

About the Position

The Sales & Front Desk Advisor is a key position at Scenthound, focused on scheduling appointments, greeting dogs and their humans, selling memberships, and educating dog parents on over all wellness while providing exceptional service to every customer. We are hiring part-time and full-time positions now at our South Boulder (4800 Baseline Road, Suite C105) and Louisville (1061 Courtesy Road) locations in Colorado.

Who We Are Looking For

We are searching for a goal-oriented team member who has a passion for sales and customer service! A successful Sales & Front Desk Advisor is outgoing, self-motivated, an independent problem solver, and a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a motivated team member who wants to advance their career through our training path to become a Scenthound Manager!

Tasks

• Drive membership sales through health and wellness education
• Drive key performance indicators – average ticket price and rebook ratio – through memberships, service
• add-ons, and retail sales
• Develop membership leads; Follow up with potential members
• Answer phone calls, schedule customer appointments, manage customer profiles and records
• Manage cash drawer – responsible for daily cash handling
• Manage customer expectations; Resolve customer concerns; Retain memberships
• Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices – keep the reception area clean and presentable
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager

• Confidence in selling services and products
• Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human!) and provide outstanding customer service
• Ability to learn our products and services to educate the dog parents; speak to our values and culture as the basis for our services
• Effective communication with team members and dog parents (in person and on the phone)
