Job summary

Scenthound is seeking a Sales & Front Desk Associate in Minnesota to drive membership sales while delivering exceptional customer service to dog parents and their pups.

Ideal candidates are Sales & Front Desk oriented, outgoing, and self-motivated with a genuine interest in dog health and wellness. Training paths lead to management roles within our growing network.

Qualifications

• Must have sales experience with a focus on membership sales
• Strong customer service background in retail, food service, or similar environments
• Proficient with computers and basic software
• Passion for dogs and dog health & wellness required
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in a smoke-free environment

Responsibilities

• Drive membership sales through health and wellness education
• Improve key KPIs such as average ticket price and rebook ratio via memberships, services, and retail
• Develop membership leads and follow up with potential members
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain customer profiles
• Manage cash drawer and daily cash handling
• Manage customer expectations, resolve concerns, and retain memberships
• Adhere to cleaning standards and keep the reception area presentable
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Scenthound Store Manager

A successful Sales & Front Desk Associate is outgoing, self-motivated, an independent problem solver, and a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a motivated team member who wants to advance their career through our training path to become a Scenthound Manager!

Tasks:

• Drive membership sales through health and wellness education
• Drive key performance indicators – average ticket price and rebook ratio – through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
• Develop membership leads; Follow up with potential members
• Answer phone calls, schedule customer appointments, manage customer profiles and records
• Manage cash drawer – responsible for daily cash handling
• Manage customer expectations; Resolve customer concerns; Retain memberships
• Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices – keep the reception area clean and presentable
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager

• Confidence in selling services and products
• Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human!) and provide outstanding customer service
• Ability to learn our products and services to educate the dog parents; speak to our values and culture as the basis for our services
• Effective communication with team members and dog parents (in person and on the phone)
