Description

Job Overview: As a Front Desk Associate, you’ll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service. Meets and greets residents; checks guests and service providers in/out. Able to understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures; monitors and operates electronic security control systems; and accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms. Assists with general concierge services and performs administrative clerical work using Word and Excel. Walks the building premises as directed for monitoring purposes.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Provides exceptional customer service.
  2. Meets and greets residents; checks guests and service providers in/out.
  3. Able to understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures; monitors and operates electronic security control systems; and accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
  4. Assists with general concierge services and performs administrative clerical work.
  5. Walks the building premises as directed for monitoring purposes.
  6. Monitors and controls access to the building.
  7. Resolves and follows-up on all complaints/issues, escalating to supervisor if necessary.
  8. Provides general concierge services as well as administrative clerical work when needed.
  9. Helps maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s).
  10. Have the ability to understand and complete all required forms.
  11. May be assigned other duties by supervisor.
Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  2. Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
  3. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  4. Command of information system hardware/software is preferred.
  5. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
  7. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  8. Proficiency with computer peripherals, software applications, tools, and office equipment.
  9. Ability to quickly navigate the property/building as required.
  10. Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
  11. Requires standing, sitting for long periods, walking, and occasional climbing.
  12. Handle, finger, grasp, and lift objects and packages; reach with hands and arms.
  13. Must be able to work at a computer and talk on the phone for extended periods.
  14. Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.
  15. Occasional overtime may be required.
  16. Ability to work extended/flexible hours, weekends, and attend Board meetings.
Physical Requirements / Working Environment

The physical demands include navigating the property, lifting weights, prolonged standing and sitting, climbing, handling objects, working at a computer, and detecting alarms. Work may be performed in various environmental conditions with exposure to outdoor elements, noise, fumes, chemicals, machinery, and dust. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour
