Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking an Office Assistant for our outpatient clinic in Coral Gables, FL. This full-time role supports patient check-in/out, scheduling, and front-desk operations, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and smooth clinic workflows.

Candidates should have at least an AA degree, with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and a minimum of three years in a health care setting, preferably outpatient.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least three years of experience in a health care setting, outpatient clinic preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check in/out, and direct them to departments or waiting areas
• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of office spaces and waiting areas
• Monitor and replenish office supplies; coordinate maintenance of office equipment
• Communicate appointment reminders, test results, and other information to patients
• Adhere to HIPAA and clinic policies in all administrative activities
