Aufgaben

• Promote the company image as a service-oriented operation with friendly service.
• Build a strong customer service team with management.
• Record all items at correct prices in their departments quickly and accurately.
• Verify identification for beer and wine purchases (where applicable).
• Follow cash handling procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Bag customers’ orders properly and ensure nothing is left behind at checkout.
• Notify management of customer inquiries, pricing or UPC issues, or security concerns.
• Control shrink through loss prevention and vigilant operations.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and compliant with standards.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Cashiers may be scheduled as Service Clerks, Self-Checkout Assistants, or Head Cashiers.
• Return shopping carts and assist training new associates.
