Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Fresh Foods Supervisor to direct the deli/food service department and its staff to meet merchandising, sales and service goals. Must have 2+ years in food service management and a passion for food and customers.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, scheduling, customer engagement, safety compliance, ordering, and accurate merchandising. Strong teamwork and leadership are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years prior experience in a fresh foods environment preferably in a management role.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Desire to learn new products and recipes; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel and meet goals with store management.
• On-board and coach new team members; schedule all staff.
• Engage customers with product information and upsell where appropriate.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Order products, maintain stock, and manage merchandising standards.
• Oversee deli/food service prep, display and pricing accuracy.
• Rotate items, manage inventory, and complete paperwork accurately.
