Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks a Fresh Foods Supervisor to direct and oversee the deli/food service department and its personnel to achieve merchandising, sales and customer service goals. Two years of food service management experience and a true love for food and serving customers are required.

The supervisor will lead onboarding, scheduling, and coaching, while ensuring safety standards, accurate paperwork, and friendly shopper service across the department.

Qualifications

• Two years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a management role.
• Desire to learn new products and recipes; love of foods.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings; reliable transportation.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise deli/food service department personnel to meet goals.
• On-board, coach, schedule and develop team members.
• Interact with customers, provide information and samples; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and proper product handling; follow pricing and signage guidelines.
• Oversee inventory, receiving, and merchandising of deli items.
• Complete paperwork accurately and handle cash register transactions.
