Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Fresh Foods Supervisor to lead the deli/food service department, directing staff and operations to meet merchandising, sales, and customer service goals. The role requires 2+ years in a fresh foods environment, and a passion for food and serving customers.

Responsibilities include supervising personnel, on-boarding and coaching new hires, scheduling, engaging with customers, and ensuring food safety and proper pricing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Two years prior experience in a fresh foods environment preferably in a management role.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel, meet department goals, and coach new team members.
• Schedule all team members and manage customer interactions with friendly service.
• Process cash register transactions, ensure accurate weights/pricing, and monitor product pricing and signage.
• Maintain sanitation, rotate deli items, and ensure inventory accuracy.
