Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Fresh Foods Supervisor to direct the deli/food service department and its staff toward merchandising, sales, and customer service goals. The role requires 2+ years in a fresh foods environment, with a passion for food and customer satisfaction.

The position involves coaching, scheduling, and engaging with customers, while ensuring safety, accuracy in pricing, and effective inventory control.

Qualifications

• Two years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a management role.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Desire to learn new products and recipes.
• A love of foods and a creative nature.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel to achieve goals, communicating with store management and supervisors.
• On-board and coach new team members.
• Schedule all team members.
• Engage with customers and provide product information and selling suggestions.
• Oversee prep and merchandising of deli/food service items.
• Ensure safety guidelines and sanitation policies are followed.
• Rotate and stock deli items and maintain product quality.
