Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will assist customers, prepare fresh meals, and maintain deli displays while ensuring cleanliness and safety across the department.

Responsibilities include loading and slicing deli products, packing orders, and assisting with special orders and party trays. A friendly attitude and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or combination of education/experience.
• 1+ year in grocery, restaurant or related field preferred.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. for up to 20 ft without assistance.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented with cleanliness.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment following company standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment, sweeping and sanitizing as needed.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
