Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in grocery/restaurant claimed or via education/experience mix.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with positive attitude and customer interaction skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as business requires.
• Good communication and teamwork; able to take direction.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of deli area and equipment.
• Operate deli equipment safely per company standards; food safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with healthy food choices by preparing meals.
• Provide high levels of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, and other deli equipment safely.
• Keep deli area clean, sanitary, and hazard-free.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
