Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh meals and assist customers with healthy choices in a fast-paced deli environment.

You will handle packaging, display rotation, and special orders, while maintaining food safety and clean work areas. The role requires teamwork, flexibility for schedule changes, and the ability to lift heavy items and operate deli equipment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a HS diploma or equivalent; grocery/restaurant experience preferred.
• Be dependable and reliable with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as schedules change.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high-level customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented cleanly.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays; prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
