Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is looking for a Deli Clerk to join our deli team in a fast-paced environment. You will assist customers with healthy, fresh meal options and help prepare and present deli products to maintain quality and freshness.

You’ll operate slicers and other deli equipment, maintain cleanliness, and support product rotation and special orders. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong guest service. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable and reliable with a positive attitude and good communication.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy foods and prepare fresh meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented with cleanliness.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays; prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain a clean, sanitary deli area.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
