Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our fast-paced deli team. You will help customers select healthy options and prepare fresh meals, while maintaining clean displays and packaging.

The role includes handling special orders and operating slicers and ovens safely. We value dependability, a positive attitude, and strong communication within a team. A high school diploma and previous grocery/food service experience are preferred, with a flexible schedule including nights

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and grocery/restaurant experience.
• Dependable, reliable and able to interact positively with customers.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices and prepare fresh meals.
• Provide high customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged and presented cleanly.
• Fill, rotate and maintain products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain a clean deli area.
• Receive, inspect and log product shipments for accuracy and quality.
