Sprouts Farmers Market in Henderson, NV is seeking a Deli Clerk to assist customers, prepare fresh meals, and maintain deli displays with a strong emphasis on customer service and food safety. You will operate deli equipment, prepare special orders, and help keep the department clean and well-organized.

The role requires reliability, flexibility for shifts including evenings and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. prior food-handling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field.
• Dependable, reliable and able to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing quick, fresh meals.
• Ensure Deli items are prepared, packaged, presented, and kept clean and sanitary.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, scales, and other deli equipment per standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment; sweep floors, remove spills, and sanitize surfaces.
• Receive, inspect, and log product shipments for accuracy and quality.
