Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is hiring a Deli Clerk to join its fast-paced deli team. You will assist customers, prepare fresh and easy meals, and ensure items are properly packaged and displayed with a focus on cleanliness.

The role includes operating deli equipment, maintaining displays, and handling special orders and party trays. Candidates should be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, or combination of education/experience.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with positive attitude and customer focus.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. for up to 4 hours.
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Maintain clean and sanitary deli area and equipment.
• Operate deli equipment safely and follow procedures.
• Follow safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, and other deli equipment safely.
• Maintain clean deli area and equipment and log shipments.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
