Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk in a fast-paced, customer-focused role. You will assist customers with fresh meal options, prepare deli items, and maintain clean, organized displays and equipment in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, labeling, and handling special orders while ensuring safety and quality standards. The role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field; or an acceptable education/experience mix.
• Dependable and reliable with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented; maintain cleanliness of the deli area.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays; prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli machinery and equipment (slicers, ovens, microwaves, scales) per standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary deli area and equipment; manage spills and hazards.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment quality and temperature.
