You will operate deli equipment, maintain cleanliness and safety, handle special orders, and help with product rotation and display. The role requires reliability, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, or education/experience mix.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the deli area.
• Operate deli equipment and follow safety/health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Fill, rotate, and display products.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, and other deli equipment as directed.
• Keep deli area clean, safe, and sanitary.
• Receive and log product shipments for quality and temperature.
