Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Deli Clerk to help customers choose healthy options and prepare fresh meals. You will maintain clean, properly presented deli displays, rotate products, and assist with special orders and party trays.

The role requires reliability, friendly interaction with customers, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. You will operate slicers and other deli equipment, while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team; take direction and handle special orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh meals.
• Ensure Deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented with cleanliness of the Deli area.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays; prepare orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment following company standards; maintain safety and sanitation.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
