Job summary

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) in Richmond, VA is hiring for an entry-level Sales Representative. You will receive six months of direct training from experienced Logistics Account Executives, build relationships, negotiate freight deals, and manage shipments end-to-end.

No experience is required, with a base compensation range and uncapped commissions to reward performance. You’ll be in a high-energy, in-office environment with a structured path to leadership and top earnings as you grow.

Qualifications

• Entry level sales with paid, hands-on training in sales and logistics.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills are valuable.
• In-office role based in Richmond, VA with a focus on meeting sales metrics.

Responsibilities

• Receive 6 months of direct training from experienced Logistics Account Executives.
• Help your account executive solve customer needs, find carriers for time-sensitive freight and manage daily operations.
• Participate in hands-on and virtual training sessions.
• Develop negotiation skills through prospecting and cold calling.
• Build your book of business and meet sales metrics for commissions.
• Establish relationships to close new customers and negotiate prices with customers and carriers.
• Resolve freight issues to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
