Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks a Freight Payment Collections Processor II to research, resolve, and collect outstanding freight invoices. You will partner with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely payments, reduce aging, and improve carrier relationships.

The role requires 3–5 years in freight payment or related areas, strong Excel and analytics, and ERP/TMS experience. Competitive hourly pay with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in freight payment, transportation finance, collections, or accounts payable.
• ERP experience SAP ECC/S4 preferred; TMS experience beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Review freight aging reports daily.
• Research unpaid carrier invoices.
• Resolve billing discrepancies.
• Validate freight documentation.
• Coordinate PO, WBS, and GL coding requirements.
• Work directly with transportation teams regarding shipment documentation.
• Communicate with carriers; negotiate payment timelines.
• Research unapplied payments and assist close processes.
• Support month-end close and monitor aging KPIs.
