Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is seeking a Freight Payment Analyst I to manage and reconcile customer accounts billed through third parties or EDI, ensuring timely payments. Customer contacts are via phone, email, payment portals and TMS portals.

You will analyze delinquent accounts, learn invoicing requirements (EDI 204/214/210), and collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes, improve processes, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize delinquent accounts for adjustment or collection.
• Understand invoicing requirements including EDI 204/214/210 for accounts.
• Develop reports and best practices for account reconciliation.
• Retrieve invoice status from customer portals and communicate findings.
• Correct invoicing issues with attention to detail and prevent recurrence.
• Upload documents via carrier resolution processes and update notes.
• Set follow-up dates to ensure timely payment and document actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to research and resolve disputes.
• Defend charges when disputes are not valid.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Evaluate credit worthiness by reviewing payment trends and references.
